The Machine by Machine Labs.

Machine Labs sends non-marketing SMS only to invited users who affirmatively opt in inside The Machine and complete phone verification.

Program name: The Machine by Machine Labs
Sender: Machine Labs, LLC
Message type: Account verification, reminders, confirmations, assistant follow-ups, responses to user requests, HELP responses, and opt-out handling. No marketing or promotional SMS is sent.
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on user activity, typically 0-10 messages per week.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply.

How users opt in

01An administrator at a customer organization invites the user to The Machine. There is no public self-signup, verbal opt-in, paper opt-in, or initial SMS keyword opt-in.
02After creating an account, the user opens Settings > Phone Number, enters their mobile number, reviews the SMS consent disclosure, checks the consent checkbox, and taps Send code.
03The user receives a one-time verification code by SMS and enters it in the app. SMS is not enabled unless phone verification is completed.

Consent screen

Consent is explicit and happens before verification.

The disclosure is displayed in-product before the user can request a verification code. The user must check the consent box and then tap Send code.

Phone numbers

Bind a phone number to your account so the agent can reach you over SMS. Verification sends a 6-digit code.

Opt out

Users can opt out at any time by replying with any supported opt-out keyword or by removing their phone number from Settings > Phone Number.
